RCIA: Back to the Basics

This webinar will explore the basic principles of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Newcomers to initiation ministry, as well as seasoned RCIA ministers will discover or re-discover the originating vision for the RCIA articulated by the Second Vatican Council. We will focus on a brief survey of the Rite’s history, language, and structure and briefly touch on principles of pastoral formation. Finally, we will discuss the adapted process for facilitating the parallel journey for baptized, uncatechized candidates.
